“Huddle Up” by Lynn Morgan

Lynn has always created artwork as part of her philosophy of awareness and belonging in the world. When she retired from her corporate career, it became more than just a beloved life-long hobby. Reinventing herself as a full-time  artist, she developed her abilities by taking classes and workshops.

Many of Lynn’s works are inspired by travel, one of her passions. She’s been to Hawaii, Tahiti, a number of European countries, Patagonia, and Cape Horn – to name just a few.

Born in Detroit, that is where Lynn began her creative adventure. Since her childhood, she’s spent a lot of time in Florida. Rather than using local familiar landscapes as artistic reference, she prefers novel scenes from her travels. Over time, she’s evolved from representational scenic depictions using pastels and watercolors to increasingly abstract works using a variety of media and bright bold colors.

Her love of adventure is apparent in her evolution as an artist, and also in her current works.

Lynn:
“My goal is that my work expresses my quest to consciously understand my spiritual self to participate in creating a personal and collective reality for the world around me.”
