Hidden in Plain Sight invites artists to explore the overlooked, unexpected, and easily missed wonders of Florida’s natural world. From tiny insects and delicate fungi to tracks, textures, nests, patterns, and hidden habitats, this exhibition asks us to slow down, look closer, and discover the extraordinary within the ordinary. Celebrate the smaller, overlooked parts of nature.

Your Photography Could Take Flight at Treasure Coast Airport!

Calling all Treasure Coast photographers! The St. Lucie Cultural Alliance is looking for stunning photography to transform a utility box at Treasure Coast Airport into an extraordinary work of public art!

This is your opportunity to showcase your creativity, share your unique perspective, and have your photography featured in a highly visible public space for residents and visitors to enjoy.
Aviation-themed photography is encouraged, but not required! While airplanes, flight, aviation history, and the spirit of travel would be a natural fit for this location, we don’t want to limit your imagination.

Have an incredible landscape? A breathtaking wildlife shot? A photograph that captures the beauty, energy, or character of the Treasure Coast?

We want to see your BEST shot!

The selected photograph will be reproduced as a professionally installed wrap on an FPUA utility box, turning everyday infrastructure into a vibrant piece of public art.

• Who Can Apply: Photographers of all experience levels.
• Theme: Open theme. Aviation-related images are welcome but not required.
• Artwork: Original photography suitable for reproduction as a large-format utility box wrap.

Beyond Paint

As Artists we are constantly being challenged to broaden our horizons as MAKERS, always open to new ways of viewing and creating ways to express our vision. BEYOND PAINT challenges us to reach for ways to incorporate Collage, Found Objects, Encaustic, Sculpture, Clay, Paper, Metal, and any other mediums that you have either worked with before, or have wanted to.
All Work designed to be hung on the wall needs to be appropriately wired, and all work that needs support to stand must have an appropriate support provided.
Let’s see what kind of INSPIRATION and WONDER we can generate.
Show will open at November’s ARTwalk (November20th) and be up until December 10th.

Call for Art: New Beginnings

The 1st independent show in the vault, curated by Terry Long and Janet Roessler. The theme for this first event is, of course, New Beginnings. A new season is beginning, a new iteration of the underground galleries at 111 Orange. A reception will be held at October’s ARTWalk ( October 16th), with drop-off from the 9th to the 12th. While the Alliance will no longer be running the gallery, they will be helping out with sponsorship, promotion, and assistance. The show will remain up until November 13th.
