Supporting Arts, Culture, Artists, and Events in St. Lucie County
Our Mission:
The mission of the St. Lucie Cultural Alliance is to better position the arts and cultural sector as a significant contributor to the vibrancy, and educational and economic wellbeing, of St. Lucie County.
Our Vision
We envision a St. Lucie where arts and culture empower every person, enrich every neighborhood, and help our community thrive. A place where artists are valued as professionals and supported in building sustainable careers, every child has access to meaningful arts experiences in schools, camps, and beyond, and creativity is an essential part of everyday life.
We envision a community that embraces the arts as a source of joy, expression, and connection, supporting mental health and emotional well being by creating space for people to express themselves, find belonging, and navigate life’s challenges.
Through opportunities to create, learn, exhibit, perform, and connect, St. Lucie Cultural Alliance nurtures local talent, celebrates our diverse cultures, and brings people together. We see a future where the arts inspire lifelong learning, strengthen our local economy, and build a healthier, more vibrant, connected community for generations to come.

Artist Spotlight
All members are welcome to be a spotlighted artist. Send your bio and a photo to marketing@artstlucie.org to be included.
Barbara Fugazzotto
Barbara creates abstract paintings, sculptures, and vessels by transforming familiar materials and individual fragments in unexpected ways. She works on paper, fabric, canvas, and found objects with layered mixed media that may include paints, collage, and drawing media.
Barbara is influenced by the natural landscape of the American West, and by artifacts of ancient cultures.
During her 25-year career teaching art, she developed skills and techniques in a variety of media. Because she still enjoys much of that variety, she designates herself a mixed media artist.
