St. Lucie Cultural Alliance – Mission Statement
The mission of the St. Lucie Cultural Alliance is to better position the arts and cultural sector as a significant contributor to the vibrancy,
and educational and economic well-being of St. Lucie County.
As the representative organization for the arts and cultural sector in St. Lucie County, the Alliance works to:
- Advocate for arts and culture as essential to quality of life and economic development.
- Support artists, creative businesses, and cultural organizations through resources, professional development, and promotional opportunities.
- Make the arts accessible to residents and visitors through events, exhibitions, and community programs.
- Connect stakeholders — including businesses, schools, and civic institutions — with the creative sector to strengthen cultural impact across the county.
The Alliance also organizes initiatives such as Art Walk, calls for art exhibitions, and community art projects to foster a thriving local arts scene.
In short, the St. Lucie Cultural Alliance’s mission is to empower the community through arts and culture, ensuring they are visible, celebrated, and a thriving part of life in St. Lucie County.
