Tiny Canvases, Massive Impact: Fort Pierce Art Club Announces the 7th Annual Magnificent Miniature Masterpieces Fundraiser & Silent Auction

FORT PIERCE, FL — The Fort Pierce Art Club, Inc. is thrilled to announce the return of its premier signature event: the 7th Annual Magnificent Miniature Masterpieces (MMM), taking place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the historic 111 Orange Avenue Building in downtown Fort Pierce.

Proving once again that monumental creativity can flourish in the micro-format, this beloved annual exhibition and silent auction brings together professional artists, emerging talents, passionate community members, and student creators as young as seven years old—all working within the constraints of a diminutive 3″×3″ canvas.

A Challenge of Precision, Passion, and “Rule Breakers”

Creating within a tight 9-square-inch space is celebrated among artists as an exhilarating technical test. Visitors this year can expect a breathtaking array of media and styles—from detailed oils, pastels, and acrylics to mixed media, wire, sculpted clay, and glass. Alongside classic compositions and miniature landscapes, the event proudly features its signature “Rule Breaker” category, welcoming unconventional, boundary-pushing three-dimensional interpretations.

Past auctions have seen miniature works acquired for private collections, corporate desks, luxury yachts, and even showcased in institutions like the Baltimore Museum—with winning bids coming from across the nation and abroad.

Event Highlights & Timeline:

  • Student & Youth Showcase: Student submissions (due October 16) will be featured with no student entry fees for 2026, offering local young artists a platform to exhibit alongside seasoned professionals.
  • Call to Artists: Adult artists and community creators can submit their entries through October 20, 2026. Miniature canvas kits are available through the Art Club and 2nd Street Art Gallery.
  • VIP Judging Night (Friday, November 6, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM): An expert panel of guest judges will conduct silent walk-throughs and score the entries for 12 prestigious ribbons and awards, including Best in Show (Adult & Youth), Star Wall Power, Most Creative, Most Technical, and Rule Breakers.
  • Public Exhibition & Silent Auction (Saturday, November 7, 2026):
    • Doors Open: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM at 111 Orange Avenue. (Participating students and families are invited for a special morning viewing starting at 9:00 AM).
    • Silent Auction & Bidding: Open throughout the day—giving art lovers and holiday shoppers the chance to take home an original, one-of-a-kind miniature work of art.
    • Awards Presentation: Afternoon ribbon ceremonies celebrating the top artists and community favorites.

Art for a Cause

Every winning bid and ticket directly fuels the Fort Pierce Art Club’s mission to keep visual arts accessible to all. Proceeds fund local art scholarships, classroom art supplies for schools, and free community programs such as weekly Art on the Porch workshops.
