Share a New Experience: Community Theatre in St. Lucie

When was the last time you went to the theatre? Not to see the latest blockbuster film, but to see a live performance? There is nothing quite like the shared experience of an audience spontaneously reacting to a funny moment in a play or musical, or holding your partner’s hand during dramatic moments. If you’re looking for an entertaining night on the town, consider St. Lucie’s community theatre scene, where there are shows you can enjoy year-round.

Pineapple Playhouse in Fort Pierce kicks off its 46th season this September, with The Bold, The Young, and The Murdered, presented September 12 through 29. Picture the quirky characters of a soap opera in a real-life game of Clue. The theatre, located at 700 W. Weatherbee Road, has four other productions planned throughout the fall and spring.
