Dear Community Stakeholders and Friends,

It is with great enthusiasm and as Board Chair on behalf of the St. Lucie County Cultural Alliance, that I introduce Ms. Alyona Ushe, our new Executive Director!  Following a national search with an incredible number of highly qualified applicants, Ms. Ushe proved to be the right candidate for our organization.  With her background in the business of cultural arts and her rich experience with municipal, county and Arts non-profits while leading in the development of arts programs always specializing in propelling good ideas to fruition, we believe Ms. Ushe to be a fantastic fit for this county.  Ms. Ushe comes to us from South Florida and knows our local landscape well.  Please join us in welcoming her to our wonderful St. Lucie County!

I’m happy to also welcome Ms. Dieulanie Claude, our new Communications Manager, who joined our organization in February of this year.  Ms. Claude is off to a terrific start and has already transformed our social media presence in her short time with the SLCA.  Her work with the new normal that COVID presents has been absolutely fantastic. She is a wonderful resource for this county and we are very pleased she is on our team!

I would also at this time like to thank our Interim Director, Dr. Neil Levine who has served this organization through our transition assisting us in building the platform that our county and organization needed to attract such terrific candidates. Dr. Levine will be leaving us at the end of this month and we wish him well in his next adventure!  Neil, we thank you for your excellent service, friendship, guidance and expertise.
