Tom Prestopnik has explored silkscreen printmaking, drawing, collage and photography. He found his favorite creative outlet to be large acrylic paintings.

See his work at the Justice Inaugural Art Exhibit, opening May 20th at the St. Lucie County Courthouse located at 218 South 2nd Street, Fort Pierce, FL 34950

Tom:
“I want the viewer to notice my work as he or she enters the room where the art is displayed. The large size and bright colors will get their attention and draw them to the paintings. Once the painting draws them in, they will want to decode, decipher or interpret the piece of art work. Hopefully, they will then add their personal experiences to my work to understand my intentions.” 

Tom wants the viewer to be drawn in by his use of color for his larger and smaller works alike, including smaller collages, prints and paintings. Most of his latest work is collage with paint.
