Tray Dish Class

Very Popular Class! The foundation to the Horizontal Hand-building class begins with a tray, dish or platter with texture utilizing hump molds. Students learn proper use of the slab roller, and the basics to create pieces. We emphasize best practices utilizing different tools, vocabulary, and how to apply it to clay. This class works on the horizontal form and then moves students into creating vertical forms such as mugs and vases and a natural progression of learning skills to successfully create beautiful vessels. Students select their glaze choice, and their pieces will be glazed by studio staff.

Students return in 2-3 weeks to pick up their finished work. Clay, glaze, and firing included.
