The Fabulous Fiber Show

The Vero Beach Art Club’s Fabulous Fiber Artists and Teachers will present an exciting “Fabulous Fiber Artists” exhibit at The Center for Spiritual Care from January 3 – January 31, 2025. You will be awed as well as inspired by their artistic accomplishments, including original work using several surface design techniques. These artists also teach classes at the Vero Beach Art Club! The various techniques include amazing hand-stitching using non-conventional fabrics (raw silk, wabi-sabi, hand-dyed, ice-dyed as well as geli-printed fabric). We also have original painted artwork on silk, including clothing and pocketbooks. In addition, you’ll see examples of deconstructed screen-printing, shibori, and discharging of clothing. Our artists include a master wood-crafting artist using unique wood from around the world! Be part of the live POD cast on Opening Night! The Rickie Report shares the details and some sneak peeks.
