Spooky Halloween Pumpkins, Ghosts & Witch’s Hat

Come on in and create some Fall/Halloween Fun builds! Youth & Adults welcome from the beginner to the experienced, we will get creative with these pieces as jumping-off points for students to expand upon their vision for their creations!This is a laid-back, 2-hour class for students with or without clay experience. Youth 7-14 $45; Adults ages 15 plus, $75. Youth welcome with paid adult supervision. Students create two beautiful fall-themed decorative items; one is a set of Ghosts, and the second build is a Jack-O-Lantern/Pumpkin or a Witch’s hat. Pieces will be hand-built from slabs and surface decoration will be added along with carving. The Pumpkin will be texturized with lace, leaves, coil, and a stem and any creative spooking adornment you dream up, and the instructor will help you succeed. We will learn some basics while creating together and just having some clay-time fun! These pieces look great with a votive on a festive table. Successful outcomes are not guaranteed, but the instructor makes every effort to teach best practices so things can make it through the kiln firings. Items will be glazed by the studio and will be ready 2-3 weeks after the class. |
