Festive Gnomes and Elves

This is a laid-back, 2-hour class for students with or without clay experience, Youth 7-14 $45; Adults ages 15 plus, $75. Youth welcome with paid adult supervision.
Students create a lively little creature. Pieces will be hand-built from slabs and pinching. Surface decoration will be added along with carving and embossing. The gnome or elf will be texturized with hats, feet, noses, and any creative adornment you dream up and the instructor will help you succeed. We will learn some basics while creating together and just having some clay-time fun! These pieces look great in the garden or on a festive table. Lovely gifts, as well!
Successful outcomes are not guaranteed but the instructor makes every effort to teach best practices so things can make it through the kiln firings. Items will be glazed by the studio and will be ready 2-3 weeks after the class.
