Bio

A love of paint, color, and form since early childhood has led me down many paths. I began by studying fine arts at Columbus College of Art and Design with a concentration in painting and graduated with a BFA. Although canvas painting would remain, my first love, I would discover new mediums and avenues through which to express creativity. Among these, I owned and managed two art galleries, worked as a visual merchandiser and began an unexpected journey that would take me across five Florida counties for the next few decades. My business, Frame of Reference, allowed me to take paint to new limits on wall surfaces in homes, commercial spaces, and showrooms. Our projects involved creating faux finishes, trompe l’oeil, and murals, crafting interiors with ambiance and attitude. Now, I am back to my first love, my easel, and canvas.
