FROM THE LITTLE YELLOW HOUSE The joy of creating a new, better tasting beer is what first drew three local Florida friends to try their hand at homebrewing. Together, they experimented and refined their product and beer they began brewing in a garage quickly gained followers. From their humble beginnings, they then took their passion to local festivals, offering other beer enthusiasts a taste of a beer they truly believed in; a beer born right in their neighborhood, by their hands, for their community. They used the positive feedback from the crowds to get ideas, tweak their recipes and generate a series of craft ales. The popularity and excitement around their Sailfish beers quickly grew, thrusting the team to expand their adventure by creating the first craft brewery and brewpub in Fort Pierce, Florida.
TO THE GREAT BIG TAPROOM In February 2017, we opened the doors to our new location, only a few blocks down the street from our first spot. Here, we’ve continued to handcraft our classic recipes and concoct new flavor combinations. We’ve just made everything more spacious – so spread out and get comfortable. Behind the scenes, our priority has stayed the same – to produce the best quality beer possible. Our summer 2019 expansion includes: adding additional fermentation vessels to our 20 bbl brewhouse, expanding our footprint statewide with our distribution partner Cavalier Distributing, and the release of the Sailfish Variety Box into the market.
KEEPING IT LOCAL A tradition we have kept close to heart is sourcing our ingredients as local as possible, whenever possible. We’re proud to showcase the tangy flavors of Florida’s coastal fruits in our beers.
