Workshop: Porcelain Pottery, or Ceramic with Andrea Daley

The student will step through the process of adhering to any type of porcelain, pottery, or
ceramic so that the line or crack will be almost unnoticeable. In some cases, it may be
totally invisible.
The student will learn how to:
Clean an item for adhering
Adjust the proper alignment
Choose the best adhesive for the project
Clean excess glue without showing any residue
If an item is properly adhered to, and if further restoration is needed, the work becomes less
costly. When an item has to be taken apart and re-adhered, the cost sometimes triples
due to the amount of time it takes to make an invisible repair.
