Workshop: Antique Frame Restoration with Andrea Daley

Bring your grandma’s antique frame to be transformed with a new life while maintaining
the integrity of the gold leaf patina.
The following will be covered:
• How to clean a gilded surface
• Making or filling in a missing part
• How to make a mold
• Filling in small chips
• Recreating the gold leaf so that it blends with the existing finish
• Glazing and toning
• Applying a protective coating
Each student can bring several frames; one will be chosen to work on.

Cost: Regular cost is $165.00. First time at this studio $125.00
