- Setup/ Break Down: All Artists and vendors must be set up and ready to sell by 9:45 am the day of the Arts and Crafts Fair. Artists and vendors may begin setting Friday, May 21 from 12 pm to 6 pm, and 7 am the day of the Fest. Break down can start no sooner than 5:30 pm on Sunday and must be completed by 8:30 pm. No vendor is to close before the official closing time. Sellers are responsible for their selling spaces.
- Clean-Up: Before leaving, be sure your area is clean and trash-free.
- Staffing: Artist or vendor tables/ booths must be manned at all times and intact until the show closes at 5 pm each day. St. Lucie Cultural Alliance and MIDFLORIDA Event Center are not responsible for merchandise or display materials.
- Security: Treasure Coast Arts & Mindfulness Fest will provide overnight security on Friday, May 21, and Saturday, May 22. However, St. Lucie Cultural Alliance and MIDFLORIDA Event Center are not responsible for artist’s and vendor’s booths and goods. Please be secure at all times.
- Artist and Vendor Responsibility: Artist or vendor will be fully responsible for any loss or damage to their property by theft, fire, or casualty. Cultural Alliance and MIDFLORIDA Event Center expressly disclaim any responsibility for same. Artists and vendors shall be responsible for any damage that may be incurred to the facilities due to or in connection with its operation. Each artist or vendor is responsible for their employees’ and representatives’ conduct, and activities must not detract from the image or welfare of the Fest.
- Artist or Vendor Items: Items for sale at the Artist’s or vendor’s booth must be predominantly handmade by the Artist or vendor. Cultural Alliance reserves the right to have items removed that are considered not appropriately handmade. Vendors cannon purchase items for resale.
- Artist or Vendor Spaces: Artist or vendor spaces will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, placement, flow, and competition will be considered to provide the best experience for Fest attendees. If you have special space needs, please include your request with your application, and we will make every effort to accommodate you. Artists and vendors must ensure that none of their display equipment extends beyond the space they have booked; this includes any rails, stands, or additional equipment.
- One Business per tent: Only one (1) business per tent; space may not be sublet or shared without prior approval of an authorized staff of Cultural Alliance.
- Acceptance: Cultural Alliance reserves the right to decline any application for space if it deems such action to be in the best interest of the Arts & Mindfulness Fest.
- State and County Sales Tax: Each Artist and vendor is responsible for collecting and reporting Florida and St. Lucie County sales tax on all sales made during the Fest.
- Payment: The full payment is non-refundable and is due with the submission of registration. All proceeds from the Cultural Alliance will go directly to the Grant Program to support regional artists.
- Electricity: Electricity may be made available upon request and made on a first-come, first-served basis as electricity is not available in all areas. Electrical service may require an additional fee.
- Outlets are NOT guaranteed.
- Extension cords are not included in the fee and must be provided by the Artist or vendor.
- Electricity must be requested and paid for at the time of booking, with specific electrical specifications (110v, 220v, etc)
- Tables, Chairs, and Tents: Each Artist or vendor must furnish their own chairs, tables, stands, tent or canopy. All tents and canopies must be secured to the ground using weights/ sandbags in windy weather.
- Cancellation: Application and registration fees are not refundable. The Fest is held outdoors and will go on rain or shine. Cultural Alliance and MIDFLORIDA Event Center are not liable if weather or other conditions prevent the Artist or vendor from attending and fulfilling the contractual obligation. Please note, we will not cancel a show unless informed by state, city, or local officials that it will be in the best interest of safety for all. No refunds will be made for weather, accident, health, or other causes for non-participation.
- Liability & Indemnification:
The Treasure Coast Arts & Mindfulness Fest does not provide insurance coverage for Vendor’s products. The Vendor is solely responsible for the artwork or products at the Fest and must ensure it for all risks of loss. The Vendor’s failure to insure is Vendor’s loss.The Festival contracts with a security guard company that does not provide insurance to The Fest on behalf of the vendors. The Festival disclaims all liability for damages arising from tortious or criminal conduct. The security guard company is active only during nighttime hours, and there is no insurance coverage when it is not on duty. The Festival provides no insurance coverage for vendors’ vehicles and their contents.Vendor further agrees to indemnify St. Lucie Cultural Alliance, St. Lucie County, the City of Port St. Lucie, and MIDFLORIDA Event Center and all of its respective officers, directors, shareholders, agents, servants, employees, representatives, predecessors, successors, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, businesses, divisions, attorneys, insurance carriers, and all of their successors and assigns (collectively, the “Indemnified Parties”) from any and all action brought against the Indemnified Parties as a result of any loss, damage, injury, or death caused by Vendor or its respective officers, directors, shareholders, agents, servants, employees, representatives, predecessors, successors, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, businesses, divisions, attorneys, insurance carriers, and all of their successors and assigns as a result of the Fest.
