Bio

Naira was born on February 4, 1973, in the Republic of Armenia. She completed her academic studies at the University of Yerevan with a bachelor's degree in journalism. Naira briefly worked for the Ministry of Culture in Armenia and for various newspapers and television stations until she discovered her passion for the arts. For a span of 20 years, Naira has created various paintings and wrote several poems that can be found in Ukraine and Armenia. Naira currently has several poems that are published in Russian and they can be viewed at the following link: https://stihi.ru/avtor/nanira.

A tidbit about her. The Caucasus region has always been marred with conflict. Naira survived the First Nagorno-Karabakh war with Azerbaijan and subsequently thereafter, moved to Ukraine. In February 2022, Naira was once again forced to flee a war zone due to Russia’s unprovoked aggression in Ukraine.

Naira is happily married and currently lives in Florida with her husband and 2 daughters.
