With an extensive background in performance, entertainment and a passion for ALL things creative & DIY - Silky Stems Design Studio was born. Focused specialization in exotic silk floral installations and arrangements. My versatility in design, decor and ALL facets of staging and styling luxury lifestyle spaces, stage, movie and televised sets has propelled me to customize an array of tutorials and demonstrations - some of which can be found on my YouTube channel under my full name Christel Jules. Based out of my home studio in Port Saint Lucie I have developed local community outreach and a nationwide initiative to advocate for Lichen Sclerosus Awareness and Vulvar Cancer Prevention.
With my own battle of multiple chronic illnesses I am blending my business with advocacy and assisting others in the realization that exploring their creativity can uplift oneself and their surroundings. I have quickly become the voice for men, women and children who are suffering in silence by accommodating affordable options and selections of unconventional materials where limitless creativity meets purpose!
My mission and vision is to break the stigma that is often associated with chronic illnesses and genital healthcare. We are ALL on this planet to live and learn from one another and we all deserve an aesthetically pleasing environment. I have found that art and design can assist our hearts and minds to generate our fullest potential of creativity from within to decrease stress. I’ve witnessed first hand how including design and decor services by way of staging commercial real estate, residential spaces, events and providing DIY instruction devises extreme impact! When we expand our souls and our horizons to shine light unto others it is then that we explore a wide variety of artistic avenues, different perspectives of creative interpretation, beauty, wellness and the possibilities for healing are remarkable!
