Surface Stories: Clay, Paint & the Language of Layers | Treasure Coast Pottery

Surface Stories brings together ceramics, paintings, and mixed-media works by resident artist Cathleen Sullivan and the members of Treasure Coast Pottery. The exhibition celebrates the expressive power of surface—how artists layer color, pattern, mark-making, and narrative to transform material into meaning. Through sculptural forms, narrative vessels, intuitive paintings, and collage-rich mixed media, this exhibition reveals the many ways story and imagination emerge through the act of layering. Studio members contribute works inspired by thematic prompts, resulting in a dynamic, community-built exploration of form, texture, and creative storytelling.
